Responsibilities

  • Install VPN and EMH software on employee devices
  • Oversee phone system “Vonage (VCC)” account set up, training and troubleshooting.
  • Set up new workstations, laptops, phones, and other devices for all new and incoming employees starting at all Athena locations
  • Manage all Google Suite Business and IT functions including but not limited to setting up new hire emails, google voice numbers, managing account subscription and distribution list needs and updating based on organization growth and staff resignations
  • Create new employee accounts in Salesforce while managing internal settings and assisting in signature creations
  • Oversee set up and user management for Adobe Acrobat platform and DocuSign account
  • Participate in training all new hires and setting up all necessary IT equipment during structured new hire training days
  • Respond to all IT concerns and requests via email, g-chat and phone within a 48-hour window
  • Consistently follows standard troubleshooting steps to resolve problems
  • Functions as a technical resource and subject matter expert for desktop and general office equipment problems
  • Consult with external vendors when necessary
  • Host and monitor weekly clinical case conference sessions
  • Update all internal distribution lists weekly to ensure accuracy
  • Oversee purchasing and distributing electronic devices as needed
  • Tracking all IT inventory and ensuring return of such inventory among employees who leave the organization
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

  • 3- 5 years of relative IT experience in a healthcare setting, required
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in desktop technical support and troubleshooting with computers, VPN, Remote support, networking and operations experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
  • Experience with a Salesforce and Electronic Health Record Systems highly desirable
  • Ability to troubleshoot PC, MAC and software issues and products
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Google Suite and related applications
  • Able to discreetly handle sensitive and confidential information
  • High level of accountability, integrity and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of HIPPA regulations and experience in a mental health setting preferred
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and multitask
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with word, excel, G-suite, and other software/applications

Working Conditions

This position will be located at 33 W 60th St. New York, New York 10023 location with travel to our 2825 3rd Avenue, Bronx, NY location as needed. This is a professional work environment where a computer, desk, chair and office supplies will be provided.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of the role above. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear and speak on the phone or computer throughout the day, stand and sit for an extended period of time and be able to write and answer emails in addition to carrying objects no greater than 70 pounds, when needed.
