We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Mechanical Plans Drafter & Review Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in both the technical aspects of mechanical drafting and the strategic elements of managerial oversight. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy and quality of mechanical plans, as well as contributing to drafting tasks when required.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Conduct thorough reviews of mechanical plans and drawings for accuracy, compliance, and feasibility.
– Provide expert guidance and feedback to drafting teams, ensuring best practices are followed.
– Participate in drafting and design work, particularly in complex or high-priority projects.
– Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
– Implement and oversee quality control procedures for mechanical drafting processes.
– Train and mentor junior drafters and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
– Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually enhance drafting and review processes.
– Assist in project planning and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of drafting tasks.
**Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field.
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical drafting, with a proven track record in a managerial or supervisory role.
– Proficiency in CAD software and other drafting tools.
– Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design standards.
– Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide and inspire teams.
– Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $175,000.00 per year
